A First, A Third and the Many Hats of Clara Lou

Here's the first: Sophia lost her first tooth. She was so excited! My kids all got their teeth really late and have so far been one of the last in their classes to lose one, so it is always much anticipated. There was much talk at our house on what the tooth fairy would bring on Friday night.
Here's our Third: Ethan broke his arm...again. It seems like we just went through this. Oh yeah, we did about 9 months ago, but that was back at Vandy, where we knew the system. This time around we didn't even know where the hospital was. This time the story involves a girl who knows karate. He doesn't like to talk about it, her parents can't believe their little girl is that strong. I say, "The karate paid off" (It gives Ethan a better story and should make her parents proud that she's learning something in those classes). This time it is also the upper humerous bone, right under the shoulder joint, all the way through again and luckily not through through the skin.
These are just some of the many hats of Clara. She loves hats. Here she is as Lieutenant Commander Doctor Doctor Clara.
Like I said she loves hats and will turn anything into a hat, including underwear and her bloomers.
Really I think hat was one of her first words. She loves to point to my 'hat' as I wrap my hair in a towel after a shower. She loves to put hats on her doll and stuffed animals. And she doesn't like to leave the house without a hat on her head.

Not Much Going On

Really not much going on here at our house. Just a lot of keeping up with life, trying to get a little more organized and contemplating our future. Nothing too exciting. No big projects and no big plans, for right now.
That means there is a lot of time for this.
